Chocalate chip and raisin cookies Makes 36 cookies
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons water
1/2 cup raisins
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temp
1 large egg white (how healthy is this? not even an egg yolk is allowed into the batter)
1/2 cup miniature semisweet choc chips

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
  2. combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. In a mixing bowl, cream the sugars and the butter till smooth. Stir in vanilla, egg white, and water. Add dry ingredients, chocalate chips and raisins and stir well until well-blended.
  3. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until just set. Remove from cookie sheets and cool on a wire rack.
